Bones and all
The 1980s. Maren is a teenager who lives with her father in Virginia. However, she has a very particular nature, which will lead her father to abandon her. So, Maren will have to learn to make do: she will decide to set out in search of her mother, whom she has never known, to see if she can find a foothold to hold on to. Along the way, Maren will meet other misfits, including Lee, a charming and out-of-control boy who, like her, seems to have no reference points. The two will immediately understand that they have many aspects that unite them, and for this reason they will decide to continue the journey together.
Adaptation of the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis.
A cannibal love story... about the need to find someone who knows how to love us for who we are.
Luca Guadagnino returns to unconventional horror, after the 2018 remake Suspiria, and does so with a coming-of-age story, delicate and bloody at the same time, very deep and very bloody, suitable for those looking for horror but also emotion. A film that certainly cannot leave you indifferent, it is a film with two souls, the purely romantic one for girls and the dark, cynical and bestial one. A masterpiece, engaging and poetic. The two protagonists are both exceptional.
