Fantasy IslandMovie Review A horror remake of the famous ABC TV series from the 70s/80s that keeps almost nothing of the original, only the magnificent island of dreams. Another low-budget production by Blumhouse designed not for what we all expected, that is, a middle-aged audience nostalgic for the TV series, but instead, as usual, for kids. A youthful soft horror that badly mixes various genres, thriller, melodrama, comedy, blending everything together... The result is a dull and idealess film, with an anonymous cast. In short, extremely boring.
Goodnight MommyMovie Review A psychological thriller with horror nuances, a remake of a 2014 Austrian film described as disturbing and highly praised by critics. Hidden behind a mask, we find the always good Naomi Watts, here also a producer, in the role of a mother who whispers a horror lullaby in the ears of her children... to tell us that very, too often the monster lives within the walls of the home and in the people closest to us. Compared to the original film, there is much less ferocity and cruelty, but it is still a good film of tension and mystery. The dream sequences are particularly suggestive.

It’s directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer (who also directed Starry Eyes) and is, of course, a reboot of the classic Stephen King film... Read More

This pre-Scream holiday slasher claims its victims in a sorority house haunted by creepy phone calls (sans ghost mask), demonic noises, bodies eerily shrouded in plastic wrap, and one perverse killer whose voice alone is enough to freeze your blood. When an unidentified caller keeps repeatedly harassing your entire sorority house with obscene things you can only half-understand (because he sounds like a deranged Donald Duck that... Read More

TOP 10 HORROR MOVIES about dogsHorror News The Beyond (1981) The Beyond is a camp, OTT and downright outrageous Fulci zombie ‘epic’ which features a blind girl called Emily (who’s from ‘the beyond’ as far as I could work out) and her trusty Alsatian guide dog - Dickie. Dickie has a low-key role until one point in the film when some fantastic looking zombies confront Emily. They moan and groan as Emily shouts gibberish like “I did what I was asked!” and “I’m not going to go back! You can’t make me go back!” until she sets Dickie on them. Dickie wastes no time in making a star of himself in this, his key scene as he attacks the crumbly undead... Read More
