Matthias Schoormann the Black Metal guy Who decapitated Bianca

2008

He was a member of a local Black Metal band called Carpe Noctem and was desperately in love with 27 year old medical assistant Bianca Brust. Unfortunately for Matthias, Bianca did not reciprocate his love. Try as he did, Bianca kept repeatedly turning him down, breaking his Black Metal heart each time. On February 20, 2008 Matthias Schoormann made his last attempt to win Bianca’s heart. As had happened each time before, Bianca showed up only to break his Black Metal heart again. Somewhere in that desperate struggle to impress her, as Bianca once again pushed him away, things got out of control resulting in a struggle out of which Matthias... Read More

There’s a girl flying through the woods outside Moscow

A Video Caught a Girl Floating in the Woods in Russia

2010

There’s a girl flying through the woods outside Moscow. At a time when “shocking amateur footage”-inspired movies like ‘Paranormal Activity’ are all the norm, here’s a video from Russia that has been raising suspicions about its authenticity. A new report (in Russian) shows footage recorded by an individual in a forest with his dog, who all of a sudden stumbles upon a young girl in the distance floating above ground. She levitates above her mother, who runs away with her “supernatural” child when they are alerted by the man’s presence. Here’s the description on the video:.  “I rented a video camera during a walk with my dog. I can not explain what was going on .”   The video lasts only 44 seconds, initially shows playing with the dog’s movie... The Possession of Lurancy Vennum

The Possession of Lurancy Vennum

1877

The small town of Watseka, located in the northeastern corner of the state and just a few miles from the Indiana border, was just like any other midwestern farm town in the late 1800's. Little out of the ordinary occurred here --- until July 1877. It was in this month that what became known as the "Watseka Wonder" first came to prominence here. It was at this time that a 13 year-old girl name Lurancy Vennum first began to fall into mysterious, catatonic trances during which she claimed that she was able to speak to angels and the spirits of the dead. The strange spells would often occur many times each day and some of them would last for hours. During the trances, Lurancy would speak in different voices and tell of places far away that she had no real knowledge... Read More

The Girl vs The Haunted Mirror

The Girl vs The Haunted Mirror

1999

The following bizarre and creepy incident, which took place in Des Moines, Iowa, was investigated by a psychiatrist and a paranormal research group. As is usual in these cases, a satisfactory explanation was never arrived at. In May 1999, a 13-year-old girl named Phoebe was sent to see a psychiatrist because of a self-image neurosis. The teenager was evidently developing an aversion to mirrors because she thought she looked ugly. Phoebe would periodically break down in tears in her room because she saw herself as fat and spotty. Her best friend Rachel had tried on numerous occasions to tell her that there was nothing ugly about her and that her figure was stick-like, but Phoebe thought her friend was just trying to make her feel better. Phoebe's mother, Sue, had... Read More

The Ferocious Murder of Sylvia Likens, the TRUE story

The Ferocious Murder of Sylvia Likens, the TRUE story

1965

Gertrude Baniszewski lived in Indianapolis with her seven children. Since she had a tiny income, Baniszewski took in children for the Summer to earn extra money. In 1965, she agreed to board sixteen years old Sylvia Likens and her sister Jenny, who was a year younger. They were the children of two circus workers who were about to go on tour operating a concession stand. Jenny was disabled and could not move about very much (Gertrude Baniszewski cynically thought that a 'cripple' would be an undemanding boarder); perhaps the Likens' decision to spare their daughters from the wandering lifestyle of the circus was influenced by Jennie's condition? Perhaps they wanted time by themselves to patch up their marriage? Their relationship had been through a bad patch (... Read More

Hotel guests started complaining about a foul taste in the water and low pressure. On February 19th Elisa Lam's body was found inside a covered rooftop water tank. Her death was ruled an accidental drowning. Pretty gross that the guests were drinking a decomposing body. A couple of aspects of this story are very mysterious. Elisa was seen on security video entering an elevator. Elisa presses all of the buttons in the elevator and appears to be waiting for someone. The elevator door won't close, which usually means that something is blocking the track. Elisa steps out of the elevator and you can see her talking to someone and waving her hands... Read More
