Well, guys. It appears as if our friends over at Bloody-Disgusting may have got it a little wrong. A few weeks ago they reported that F. Javier Gutierrez’s Rings will be a prequel that takes place before the 2002 remake of The Ring. However that does not appear to be the case as the director, F. Javier Gutierrez has took to Twitter to put the record straight. Hey peeps, #Rings is NOT a prequel, the story takes place 13 years after #TheRing Alex Roe (The 5th Wave) has scored the lead male role in the upcoming film which will also star Italian actress Matilda Lutz.
